The regional Cluster Atlas Baden-Württemberg addresses interested companies and economic development agencies and offers relevant basic information on Baden-Wuerttemberg's cluster initiatives, regional networks and state agencies. The Cluster Atlas also includes research, development and transfer institutions in the federal state's regions which are related to clusters.
Previously of the seventh Cluster-Forum Baden-Württemberg on the 15.th of June 2016, the fifth regional Cluster-Atlas Baden-Württemberg was published.
The Cluster-Atlas is an important instrument in cluster politics and presents as guidepost the cluster-landscape of Baden-Württemberg. It highlights the innovation diversity of the cluster initiatives and networks in the federal state. Moreover it shows which clusters, cluster initiatives and state-wide networks exist in which branches, technology and competence fields and regions.
"In order to approach the technological, ecological and social challenges and to solve problems, companies need partners. Cluster initiatives and networks can help finding these partners and initiate corporations. They make possible a tight and quick exchange on a regional level. Besides, they are more and more involved in building cross-border partnerships and relationships, in order to make international market developments and trends accessible for companies in the federal state." describes Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut a fundamental gain of cluster initiatives and networks.
The Cluster-Atlas addresses companies and economy promotions that are interested in cooperating with a cluster initiatives or a state-wide network. Furthermore, it offers relevant and basic information about approximately 120 regional cluster initiatives, state-wide networks and federal state agencies. Additionally, the Atlas captures cluster relevant research-, development- and transfer institutions in the particular regions of the federal state.
The continuously updated Cluster Data Base Baden-Württemberg, which delivers additional information regarding particular cluster initiatives, completes the Cluster-Atlas. The data base can be reached via the following link: www.clusterportal-bw.de/clusterdatenbank.
