Cluster Nanotechnologie
Mit seiner Forschung in der Nanotechnologie am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) und dem bundesweiten Kompetenznetz NanoMat hat sich in der Region ein Cluster mit einem Schwerpunkt für das gesamte Land auf dem Gebiet der Nanotechnologie herausgebildet. Kooperationen zwischen Forschung und unternehmensseitiger Entwicklung mit Unternehmen aus Karlsruhe und Umgebung sowie aus der benachbarten Region Rhein-Neckarbegründen eine national und international erstklassige Clusterqualität.
